Becky was born in Orange, CA but moved around a lot growing up. Her adventures have taken her to many places, including Hong Kong and Beijing - where she met her husband, Wanma. Ever since her first trip to Tibet in 1999, Becky has been enthralled with the people and culture of the rooftop of the world. She has done research and written a thesis on the effects that education has on Tibetan ethnic identity. She currently resides with her husband and their son, Kairon, in Anaheim, CA. Becky's interests include traveling - preferably by land or water, reading, going to the beach, hiking, meeting new people, and trying to dance to Tibetan music.
